Andrea Lorenzo Scartazzini has been invited by the Bremer Philharmoniker to write a work for their 200th anniversary. It addresses the earthly in the sense of an approach to human life here.

With her new orchestral piece, Ľubica Čekovská recalls the playful consciousness of our childhood. The first performance takes place in Houston at the end of November.

On the 80th anniversary of liberation from National Socialism, Bärenreiter Praha is publishing the performance material of two works by Miloslav Kabeláč which are still highly topical. 

The desire to regain the voice of his mother is the motive for an American soldier to murder three women. Miroslav Srnka has made a fascinating opera from this. “Voice Killer” receives its premiere in June 2025 at MusikTheater an der Wien.

After composing several works for piano solo, piano and ensemble and a piano concerto, Beat Furrer continues his interaction with the instrument and has composed a second piano concerto. This will be premiered in September in Geneva.

The Jena Mahler-Scartazzini cycle reaches its conclusion. In the final concert, all ten compositions by Andrea Lorenzo Scartazzini which refer to Gustav Mahler’s symphonies will be performed.

From a radically different world: the layers in Beat Furrer’s opera “DAS GROSSE FEUER” (“The Great Fire”), based on the novel “Eisejuaz” by Sara Gallardo, are many and diverse. The world premiere takes place in Zurich in March 2025.
